STORYBOARDS
Self-assembly 'commercials'
Example of my first storyboard.
The idea is to create a short informercial that would play between shows on a channel like the ABC, no longer than five minutes. Something that would show how your design trend talked about in Assessment 1 (report) would be seen in the future.
My first storyboard focuses on earthquakes and the destruction they create, it follows the process of when self-assembly is introduced and small scale earthquakes cause little to none destruction because of the innovation. My second storyboard suggests that the chips can be as small or big as we like them to be, and hence could write the code into the chips to build a heart chamber and help people survive. It can create those things that machines are limited to. The third and final storyboard reveals the possibilities of building a city, in environments that seem inhabitable because of natural disasters the chips can build a city and adapt to best suit the environment.
I believe that these three storyboards help get the 'self-assembly' concept across to the viewer and hopefully revealing what (with further research) is possible.
